Troubleshooting

  • What happened to the MMS I sent earlier?
When an MMS isn't received by MOKO.mobi, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
      1. You used the wrong shortcode or longcode. Please check that you have the correct details on the 'Submit your Stuff' page.
      2. Delayed by the carrier due to network congestion, your MMS will be sent eventually so be patient.
      3. Carrier's MMS delivery system has failed which means you may have to send your MMS again. Contact your carrier for more information.
      4. Your MMS was rejected when it arrived to MOKO.mobi. You will receive a rejection message in your MOKO.mobi inbox.
      5. The shortcode/longcode for your region has failed. This would mean ONLY users in your region are affected and content from that region would not be updated. These codes are hosted by a third party and the service will not resume until it is resolved by the third party. If we're aware of an issue, affected users will be notified not to send any content until a solution is found.
      6. A problem has occured in the MOKO.mobi MMS ingestion system. This would affect all MOKO.mobi users and content from all users would not be updated. Affected users will be notified and informed when the problem is resolved.
      7. MOKO.mobi site may be undergoing maintenance. Your content, if approved will be published when the site has finished it's scheduled maintenance.
  • I sent an MMS with a photo or video but the title didn't show up.
While we do try our very best to be compatible with most phones, unfortunately, a few phones may experience this problem. The issue is handset related, but we hope to resolve it in the future.
  • Some of my favourites have disappeared, what happened?
If you have a link to a favourite photo or video which is then deleted by a user or community Admin this favourite link will also disappear from your list.
  • Some of my comments have disappeared, what happened?
Comments with phone numbers, abusive language and sex chat will be removed by Admins. If you have behaved badly in numerous rooms throughout MOKO, all your comments may be removed.
  • What happens if I can't access MOKO.mobi?
There are numerous reasons why you may not be able to access MOKO.mobi - most of these reasons are carrier related. For example, most issues are due to reception or network congestion issues, these issues will rely on the carrier or network to resolve and usually access is restored in a few hours. If MOKO.mobi is unavailable due to maintenance, you will see a message posted on our site when you try to access MOKO.mobi.
  • How do I unsubscribe or cancel MOKO.mobi?
